TV Program Guide (EPG)

The TV Program Guide, commonly referred to as the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) list 7 full days of programming information, allowing you to easily plan your viewing.

1. There are 2 ways to reach the EPG

Press the EPG button on your remote for quick access to our program schedules. You can move up and down the list of channels with the UP and DOWN arrow buttons. Press OK on any program to see the available options. You can also move along each channel with the LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttons. Use the Yellow button to skip to the program guide for a different date and the GREEN button to change the channel category

2. When watching Live TV in full screen mode, press the LEFT arrow button on your remote and the program guide window for the channel pop up. Browse UP and DOWN to see the list of programs

If you are interested in the upcoming 2 programs, simply press OK on your remote in full Live TV mode and the Channel Info bar will pop up showing the upcoming programs

Watching TV

You can select channels via any of the 5 options - each will have their own benefits depending on your navigation habits. NB: if not in the Live TV full screen mode simply press the TV button on your remote to go straight to the last played channel

  1. Press the Numeric Key on your remote coinciding with the number of the channel you want to view. E.g. press ‘1oo’ for SBC
  2. Press the + and - button on the CH button on your remote
  3. Press the UP and DOWN arrow key on your remote to change channels
  4. Press the RIGHT arrow key on your remote and follow the intuitive prompts and select (Press OK) the desired channel
  5. Press the EPG button on your remote and scroll UP and DOWN to select the desired channel

Program INFO:To get information about the program being played or to be played simply

NB: Must be in full screen live TV mode

  1. Press the LEFT arrow key on your remote control, scroll (UP or DOWN) to the program you request more information about and press the LEFT arrow key again. The program synopsis window will be displayed
  2. Press the EPG button and go on the channel and program of interest; the program synopsis window will be displayed at the button of the screen

Channel Features:

  • The following features may be available per channel;
  • Time-Shift
  • Recording
  • Lock
  • Save Time-Shift (last 2 days aired content) to MY Recordings library
  • Pause/rewind/resume Live TV
  • HD

To know which features are available per channel you have 3 options; useful based on your navigation habits

  1. In full screen TV mode press the RIGHT arrow button on your remote control and press again until you reach the channel listings. As you scroll through the channels, the features icons are displayed on the TOP RIGHT of the MENU. Those icons highlighted in white are available for the selected channel
  2. In full screen Live TV mode press the OK button on your remote control. The options window will be displayed and the features icons are also shown. Those icons highlighted in white are available for the selected channel
  3. Press the EPG button on your remote control and as you scroll through the channels, the features icons are displayed on the top left of the EPG. Those icons highlighted in white are available for the selected channel

Volume: Press the + and - key on the Volume button on your remote to increase/decrease volume

Reminder: you can set reminders for programmes and you can even decide if you wish to switch automatically to the selected program once it airs.

Go to EPG and go to the program for which you wish to set the reminder. Press the OK button on the program the options and window will popup with the Reminder option. You then decide how long before the program airs you wish to be alerted and indeed if you wish to automatically switch to the selected program once it starts.

Recording

You can record up to 15HRS of programming depending on your package and even more if you subscribe for supplementary Recording quotas.

Basic recording: Recording a channel/program you are watching - you initiate the recording start and stop actions

To start recording a program simply press the recording button on your remote REC and to stop recording simply press the recording REC button a second time.

Your recorded program(s) will be saved into your 'MY Recordings' folder and you can watch your recordings at any time. You can also delete your recordings at any time.

To know which channels are activated for Basic Recording you have 2 options

OR

  1. Press the OK button on your remote whilst watching the channel in full screen; if the recording icon is highlighted in white color, then the channel is enabled for recording
  2. Press the EPG button on your remote, then scroll through the channels, whilst keep an eye on the icons above the channel listings. The channels with the Recording icon highlighted in white color are enabled for basic Recording

Scheduled recording: Initiating the future recording of one or multiple programs in advance. You do not need to be watching the program when it airs and your STB may be off; the program(s) will still be recorded.

Your recorded program(s) will be saved into your ‘MY Recordings’ folder and you can watch your recordings at any time. You can change your scheduled recordings at any time. You can delete your recordings at any time.

There are 2 ways to do this;

  1. Press the EPG button on your remote, then on the selected channel scroll right or left to select the program to be recorded at the time being played. On pressing the OK button on your remote you will then have the options window and you simply select the Scheduled Recording option to initiate the action
  2. OR
  3. In watching Live TV in full screen mode press the LEFT arrow button on your remote. This will open the EPG for the channel. Scroll UP & DOWN to the program to be recorded and press the OK button on your remote. This will open the options screen and you simply select the Scheduled Recording option to initiate the action

Your recorded program(s) will be saved into your ‘MY CONTENT’ folder and you can watch your recordings at any time

Series recording: Initiating the future recordings of SERIES programs in advance.

There are 2 ways to do this;

  1. Press the EPG button on your remote, then on the selected channel scroll right or left to select the SERIES to be recorded at the time to be played. On pressing the OK button on your remote you will then have the options window and you simply select the Record Series option to initiate the action
  2. OR
  3. In watching Live TV in full screen mode press the LEFT arrow button on your remote. This will open the EPG for the channel. Scroll UP & DOWN to the program to be recorded and press the OK button on your remote. This will open the options window and you simply select the Record Series option to initiate the action

Your recorded program(s) will be saved into your ‘MY CONTENT’ folder and you can watch your recordings at any time

Saving Aired programs: this is simply saving to your library, programs that have already been shown within the last 2 days.

This option is available only on Time Shift enabled channels

  1. Press the EPG button on your remote, then on the selected channel scroll right or left to select the program to be saved. On pressing the OK button on your remote you will then have the options screen and you simply select the Save program rec option to initiate the action
  2. OR
  3. In watching Live TV in full screen mode press the LEFT arrow button on your remote. This will open the EPG for the channel. Scroll UP & DOWN to the program to be recorded and press the OK button on your remote. This will open the options window and you simply select the Save program rec option to initiate the action

Your recorded program(s) will be saved into your ‘MY CONTENT’ folder and you can watch your recordings at any time .You can change your Series recordings at any time. You can delete your recordings at any time.

 

Pause & Rewind Live TV

PAUSE/REWIND/RESUME Live TV:

Need to step away from your TV screen but do not want to miss a thing? Do not worry, we have a solution for you! CWS TV will wait for you to come back.

  1. To pause live TV simply press the Pause/Resume button on your remote control. To resume viewing simply press the pause/resume button again. You can pause Live TV for a minimum of 30 seconds and for up to 1 hour
  2. To fast forward, press FF button on your remote control once to fast forward slowly, and again (up to three times) to fast forward at the maximum speed. Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume viewing
  3. To rewind, press REW button on your remote control once to rewind slowly, and again (up to three times) to rewind at the maximum speed. Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume viewing
  4. To resume Live TV simply press the TV button on your remote.

 

Time-Shift- watch programs from the last 2 days

TimeShift is the option to view programs aired over the last 2 days. It is available on selected channels and identified by the TimeShift icon being highlighted in white color. On some channels you even have the option of saving the program into your personal Video library.

To know which channels are enabled for TimeShift you have 3 options; useful based on your navigation habits

Then simply click OK on the program you wish to watch and/or save to your video library

  1. In full screen TV mode press the RIGHT arrow button on your remote control and press again until you reach the channel listings. As you scroll through the channels, the features icons are displayed on the TOP RIGHT of the window. The icons highlighted in bold white are available for the selected channel
  2. OR
  3. In full screen Live TV mode press the OK button on your remote control. The options window will be displayed and the features icons are also shown. The icons highlighted in bold white are available for the selected channel
  4. OR
  5. Press the EPG button on your remote control and as you scroll through the channels, the features icons are displayed on the top left of the EPG. The icons highlighted in bold white are available for the selected channel

 

Settings

Manage Devices

To disconnect a device from your subscriber (e.g.: iPhone, iPad, Android, STB,) take the following steps:

  1. Press the MENU button on your remote control to open the main menu
  2. Navigate to the SETTINGS section of the portal using the LEFT and RIGHT button and press OK to select it. New menu with a list of settings available appears
  3. Using the UP and DOWN keys navigate to Manage Devices and press the OK button on your remote control
  4. The Unlock User Control pop-up window will appear, asking for your User Pin. Enter your Pin and press OK on your remote control
  5. All devices connected to the User profile will be listed
  6. To disconnect a Device, press OK on your remote control, while on the target Device and then press Disconnect device
  7. To rename a Device, press OK on your remote control, while on the target Device and then press Rename device. The virtual keyboard will be displayed if you press the KEYBOARD button on your remote control (or simply if you start typing) and using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9). Press OK when done.

Personal Information

To set up your personal information (Nickname, E-mail, Name, Representing text, Avatar, Telephone number, Address, Date of birth and Gender) take the following steps:

  1. Press the MENU button on your remote control to open the main menu.
  2. Navigate to the SETTINGS section of the portal using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons and press OK to select. A New window with a list of settings available pops up
  3. Using the UP and DOWN buttons navigate to User Settings and select Personal data with the button OK button on your remote control
  4. Nickname, E-mail, Name, Representing text, Avatar, Telephone number, Address, Date of birth and Gender are displayed.
  5. From this list of personal data settings select the one that you would like to modify with the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open new option window where settings can be changed. The settings are quite similar. The virtual keyboard will be displayed if you press the KEYBOARD button (available on selected remotes only) on your remote control (or simply if you start typing) and using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9). Press OK when done
  6. To exit from this sub-menu of the profile settings press the BACK button

Change PIN

Each user has their own personal user PIN and the account owner (default user) has their own personal parental control PIN. To change User PIN take the following steps:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Change PIN and enter your current User PIN to activate the change pin option
  4. Enter your new User PIN using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9). To correct mistyped PIN use BLUE button to clear field and retype the PIN again.
  5. Navigate to Enter new user PIN again using UP or DOWN and enter the PIN again. Press BACK and confirm the User PIN change with OK

To change Parental PIN take the next steps:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Parental Control and enter your current Parental User PIN to activate the change pin option
  4. Enter your new User PIN using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9). To correct mistyped PIN use BLUE button to clear field and retype the PIN again.
  5. Navigate to Enter new Parental Control user PIN again using UP or DOWN and enter the PIN again. Press BACK and confirm the User PIN change with OK
  6. The BACK button is used to exit from the Change PIN and SETTINGS section

Media Settings

Media settings such as Reminder time, Audio and Subtitles and Video Ratio can be set from the module SETTINGS:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Media using the UP and DOWN buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it. Auto reminder, Audio, Subtitles and Video ratio are displayed
  4. To modify each of them you must first navigate to the field that you would like to modify using the UP and DOWN buttons, and then with the OK button change the value of the field
  5. Press the BACK button on your remote control to exit

Channels

The channel list when you will first login is a default list that we have created.

To change the position of channels initiate the following actions:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Channel order using the UP and DOWN buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it. List of channels are shown
  4. To change the position of a particular channel, navigate to this channel using the buttons UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK to select it
  5. Navigate to the position where you would like to place this channel, again using the buttons UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK on your remote control to release the channel on the desired position.
  6. Channel position is now successfully saved, repeat this procedure for all the channels that you would like to changed its position
  7. Press the BACK button on your remote control to exit from the Media and SETTINGS option.

To change the Channel name take the following steps:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Channel names using the UP and DOWN buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it. List of channels are shown
  4. To modify the name of a channel each of them you must first navigate to the channel that you would like to modify using the UP and DOWN buttons, and then with Press OK
  5. Open the virtual keyboard using the KEYBOARD button on your remote (available on selected models only) or simply start typing. Buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) are used to modify the channel name. Press OK when done editing and virtual keyboard will now disappear
  6. Press the BACK button on your remote control to exit from the Media and SETTINGS option.

Favorite channels

(How can I set my favorite channels?) Under the channel categories, you might have noticed, there is a category Favorite channels. Here is the procedure of how to set up which channels are your favorite ones:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Favorite Channels using the UP and DOWN buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it. List of channels are shown
  4. Find your favorite channels using the buttons UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK for the ones that you would like to appear under the Favorite channels channel category
  5. To exit press the BACK button on your remote control.

Parental Control

The Default user is the only user who can define and implement the Parental Control. Parental control of Channel list is intended to include or hide certain channels from the channel list. User rating is used in case the users are younger than 21 years and there has to be a restriction on the programs they are allowed to watch.

To set the User rating for each user separately, you must first login as a default user and then take the following steps:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Parental Control using the UP and DOWN buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it
  4. You will be asked to unlock the parental control. Insert your parental PIN here using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and press the button OK to confirm
  5. After the confirmation, list of different options will be displayed (Change parental PIN, Channel list, User rating)
  6. Navigate to User rating and select it with the button OK. List of users appears.
  7. Select the user that you would like to set parental control for and confirm with OK. A new window appears, using the UPand DOWN buttons scroll and choose parental age limit, confirm with OK. You can choose between zero (0) to twenty one (21) and no parental limit.
  8. To exit use the BACK button

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Parental Control then Channel List using the UP and DOWN / RIGHT and LEFT buttons on your remote control, and press OK to open it
  4. Find the channels using the buttons UP and DOWN, and press OK for the ones that you would like include or eliminate for selected user
  5. To exit use the BACK button.

 

Adding new users

Adding new users to you subscriber is performed from the SETTINGS module. Follow the next steps to add, delete or rename users:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Manage users and open it with OK. All existing users appears and an option to add a new one

a) Add new user- Select Add new user option and confirm it with OK. The virtual keyboard will be displayed if you press theKEYBOARD button on your remote control (or simply if you start typing) and using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) type the name of the new user. Press OK when done

b) Delete user (you cannot delete the user that you are currently logged in) -Select a user using the UP and DOWN buttons and press the button OK to delete it. You will be asked for a confirmation before the user is going to be permanently deleted. To confirm press OK to cancel press the BACK button

c) Rename user (you can only rename user that you are currently logged in) Select a user using the UP and DOWN buttons and press the OK button to rename it. The new page that is opened, displays a field with the name of the current user. To modify this name open the virtual keyboard using the KEYBOARD button or simply start typing. Buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) are used to enter the new name of the user and the LEFT button to delete character by character.

Portal Language

To change the language of you portal:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Languages and open it with OK. List of available languages appears
  4. Select desired language and confirm your choice with OK. After your confirmation the warning message appears, you need to confirm it again with OK
  5. Then the auto user switching will happen and after you re-login with your user PIN, you will notice that the language has been successfully changed

Set-top box information

The information of your set-top box device, such as what is your IP and MAC address, which subscriber and user are currently connected to your device and some other technical specifications, is available to you through the module SETTINGS:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the System option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Set-top box option with OK. All of set-top box device information is displayed. To scroll through more information use UP and DOWN keys
  4. To exit from this menu and from the SETTINGS module simply use the BACK button

 

How do I restart the system?

There is an option to restart your set-top box device, which can be done from SETTINGS:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the System option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select System restart using the UP and DOWN keys, and the OK button to confirm it

Change user

If your subscriber has more than one user created and another user (which is not the current user that is login) would like to login, you are required to perform a Change user:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Navigate to Change user and press OK to perform Change user. You will be asked if you really want to change the profile. Press OK to confirm and change the user and press BACK if you have changed your mind
  4. If you have confirmed the Change user option, the login page will be displayed and different user can now login

Recommendations settings

(What is Recommendations, from the menu Settings, used for?)

We have Live TV programs and VOD Contents that you might like. These programs and contents appear under a separate menu at both TV and VIDEO section. If you would like to manage their appearance (Live TV and VOD recommendations menus will be displayed) take the next steps:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the User Settings option and select it with the OK button
  3. TV recommendations and Video recommendations options are displayed on the popup window. To change the value of each of them (turn on or off) select it using the buttons UP and DOWN buttons, and then press the OK button. To clear the history, the BLUE button from your remote is used
  4. Exit using the BACK button

 

Autologin

  1. Go to the Settings section of the portal after pressing the MENU button
  2. Using the UP and DOWN keys on your remote navigate to the TV Interface option and select it with the OK button
  3. Select Autologin and open it with OK
  4. Enter your current User PIN to enter automatic login option
  5. Press the OK button to toggle between Autologin settings being switched on to off
  6. To exit use the BACK button

 

Authorization

Inspect your own unique PIN for authorization:

  1. On selecting the Settings option on the portal from your MENU
  2. Select Extras using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open it
  3. The go to Device Authorization
  4. Your Unique Authorization pin is listed here
  5. To exit press the BACK button

 

Phone

To enable VOIP and Phone redirection, follow these steps:

  1. On selecting the Settings option on the portal from your MENU
  2. Select Extras using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open it
  3. Then go to Phone
  4. Select desired option using the UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK to toggle on / off VOIP while for Redirect, useBLUE button to clear the field and 0-9 to input values.
  5. To exit press the BACK button on your remote

 

RSS Feeds

The RSS Feeds that are available and visible are predefined by us. To choose which ones are visible in your RSS Feeds list do the following steps:

  1. On selecting the Settings option on the portal from your MENU
  2. Select Extras using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open it
  3. Navigate to RSS Feeds using the UP and DOWN buttons, and select it with the OK button
  4. Select desired RSS Feeds using the UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK for the ones that you would like include or eliminate from your RSS Feeds list
  5. Exit using the BACK button.

 

Facebook Account

  1. On selecting the Settings option on the portal from your MENU
  2. Select Extras using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open it
  3. Navigate to Facebook using the UP and DOWN buttons, and select it with the OK button
  4. Select email and password with OK button and enter the details using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9). Then confirm all other options with the OK button
  5. To complete authorization press the BLUE button

 

Weather

The locations for which weather details is shown, are predefined by us. To choose which ones are visible and available do the following steps:

  1. On selecting the Settings option on the portal from your MENU
  2. Select Extras using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to open it
  3. Navigate to Weather using the UP and DOWN buttons, and select it with the OK button
  4. Select desired locations using the buttons UP and DOWN, and press OK for the ones that you would like include or eliminate from your weather list
  5. Exit using the BACK button

 

Help

Contains help and basic information of your system and can be reached from the main menu:

  1. On selecting the Help option on the portal from your MENU
  2. List of items, which can help you with your questions and other helpful information, are now displayed
  3. To open each of the items navigate with the DOWN and UP buttons from your remote control and use the OK button to open each of the explanations
  4. When help item is opened use the UP and DOWN buttons to read the explanation
  5. The BACK button can be used to exit each of the menus that you have opened while browsing through the HELP section

 

Context-sensitive help

Besides the general HELP option there is also Context/sensitive help, which can be reached from each menu separately using the INFO button

When press this button on your remote control, a window opens, which explains how to use the current active menu

This kind of Help brings you closer the functionalities and the possibilities of each menu

To exit from the Context/sensitive Help and go back to the previous menu use the BACK button

 

VOIP (Sip client)

  1. There is a module named PHONE, which contains information about Dialed, Received and Missed calls. To reach this module:
  2. On selecting the Phone option on the portal from your MENU
  3. Different options are now available, where Dialed, Received and Missed calls can be inspected
  4. The BACK button can be used to exit each of the windows that you have been opened while browsing through the PHONE section

 

The calls are also visible on TV in form of a pop-up window, giving notice of incoming calls. Please see the Settings part of the guide on how to enable it.

 

Contacts

It contains your profile's data, your contacts' data, your invitations and you are able to add and search for new contacts. To reach this section:

On selecting the Phone option on the portal from your MENU

 

My profile

My profile displays your personal information. Once you have opened the CONTACTS section:

Select the first menu from the list of options available using the button OK. Personal data of your profile is displayed.

 

My contacts

All of your contacts (both buddies and phone contacts) are stored under this menu. To reach the list of the contacts:

Once when CONTACTS option is opened, use the UP and DOWN buttons to reach My contacts and the OK button to open it. List of your added contacts is displayed (first the buddies and then the contacts which you have added manually)

You can perform Start Call, Start Shat or Remove for each of the buddies and Start Call, Edit of Remove each of the phone contacts. This is performed by pressing the OK button for a certain contact and a list of possible Actions is displayed)

To exit use the BACK button

 

Add contact

To add buddies or only phone contacts use this menu.

  1. When CONTACTS module opened navigate to Add contact menu using the UP and DOWN, buttons and OK to open it. New page is displayed where you can enter Nickname and Telephone number.

a) To add a buddy:

Enter its nickname at the virtual keyboard which is displayed when you will start typing using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and OK to when done

Press the OK button, new window is displayed* and then *OK button again* *to start searching for your buddy. List of buddies which match the nickname that you have entered is displayed.

Navigate to the buddy that you would like to add using the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to confirm.

b) To add a phone contact:

Enter a nickname at the virtual keyboard which is displayed when you will start typing using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and *OK *to when done

Press the DOWN button and enter a telephone number using the buttons from zero (0) till nine (9)

Finally press OK to save this contact at your contact's list


  1.  

To exit from Add contact menu (both when adding a buddy or a phone contact) use the BACK button.

Chat (Quick Chat)

There are two of ways of how to start a chat with your buddies. One of them is the Quick Chat:

  1. While watching Live TV channel press the KEYBOARD button. A Small window appears on the lower right side of the screen
  2. Open Tools by pressing the BLUE button and then select Start a new chat using the OK button
  3. A new window is displayed in the middle of the screen, which contains a list of all of your buddies
  4. Using the UP and DOWN buttons find the buddy with whom you would like to chat and press OK to start chatting. New window is displayed in the lower right corner where all of the messages from your chat will be displayed
  5. Start typing with the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and virtual keyboard will be displayed. Press OK when you would like to send what you have typed to your buddy. This is displayed in the lower right corner of your screen (chat window)
    1. When message arrives from your buddy it is displayed in the lower left corner as a notification. Here maximum three messages from your buddy can be displayed, the last three that were received of course. In case some of your buddies have started chat with you or you have already closed the chat window (on the right side of your screen), than when this notification is displayed you can start or continue chatting by pressing the RED button. In case this notification does not represent the first message from a buddy or your whole chat conversation is still present on your screen, then simply continue typingi.
  6. To close the chat window use BACK button

 

 

Start chat from My contacts

You can also start chatting with a buddy also from the CONTACTS module:

  1. Navigate to the buddy with whom you would like to chat (using the buttons UP and DOWN) and press the button OK, to open the options window
  2. Now select Start chat to start chatting with this buddy.
  3. Start typing with the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and virtual keyboard will be displayed. Press OK when you would like to send what you have typed to your buddy. This is displayed in the lower right corner of your screen (chat window)
  4. When message arrives from your buddy it is displayed in the lower left corner as a notification. Here maximum three messages from your buddy can be displayed, the last three that were received of course. In case some of your buddies have started chat with you or you have already closed the chat window (on the right side of your screen), than when this notification is displayed you can start or continue chatting by pressing the button RED. In case this notification does not represent the first message from a buddy or your whole chat conversation is still present on your screen, then simply continue typing
  5. To close the chat window use BACK button

 

 

Search

Live TV programs, VOD contents and My Pictures can be searched in different ways:

  1. Each of them can be searched from their MENU (TV, VOD and My Content)
  2. There is a SEARCH option from where search through all of them together or separately can be performed
  3. From Live TV - full screen mode

Search from the SEARCH section

Take the following steps:

  1. Open main menu, navigate to the SEARCH section using LEFT and RIGHT buttons and press OK to open it
  2. Search window is opened
  3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select one of the possible search by options: Type, Criteria or VOD category. Then use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to define in details what Type, Criteria or VOD category you will search by. Note that if you do not select some of the Search By options available search will be performed over all of your Live TV programs, VOD contents and pictures
  4. Start typing what you would like to search using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and press OK to start searching
  5. Browse through searched results using the buttons UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK to preview details of a particular result
  6. The BACK button is used to exit from search

 

 

Search from Live TV (Full screen)

To search while watching your favorite show you can simple start search with the BLUE button, without opening any modules on the screen:

  1. Press the BLUE button while watching TV. Search window is opened
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select one of the possible search by options: Type, Criteria or VOD category. Than use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to define in detail what Type, Criteria or VOD category you will search by. Note that if you do not select some of the options the search will be performed over all of your Live TV programs, VOD contents and pictures
  3. Start typing the item you would like to search using the buttons from zero (0) to nine (9) and press OK to start searching
  4. Browse through searched results using the UP and DOWN buttons, and press OK to preview details of a particular result
  5. The BACK button is used to exit from search
